O vídeo foi lançado com exclusividade no portal espanhol Elmundo.es e mostra a banda ao vivo em Hackney Empire, Londres, Inglaterra, dia 7 de julho último; num belíssimo preto e branco, com tomadas intercaladas por slow motion, que expõem a estupefação do público diante do Arcade Fire em ação, ali, a poucos metros.
“Ready To Start”, já disse aqui, é a melhor música do recente “The Suburbs”, que conseguiu a façanha de ser o número 1 na Inglaterra e nos Esteites. Foi uma boa escolha para o segundo single do disco. A música vem abrindo todos os shows da turnê do novo álbum.
Na página do Elmundo que fala sobre o vídeo, não há menção sobre quem dirigiu e se esse “ao vivo” vai fazer parte de um projeto maior, como um filme ou um DVD. Tudo é possível – por isso, os parênteses: um vídeo “oficial” também não pode ser descartado.
